Who knew. . . that I rain would fall on me?
That's rigth what the hell is up with the weather. Just like a cheesy horror flick where the lighnting goes off with the super loud crashes of thunder. Sounds weird to me. But I do like the icy breeze thats coming through the class.
That's right I'm still in class, waiting for the rain to stop that I may make the trek back into town during this horrible weather. But I do like the temperature.
Anyway for those of you who don't know yet, I got my interview with the JET program. And I will like to say that I totally SPANKED IT!!! Thats how awesome it went. I really feel confident that I will be going because I totally worked teh interviewers. I was cool, calm ,and humorous, which made it impossible for them not to laugh and totally get into my charming personality. But there were some questions where I got kinda stuck in but I handled them good and passed every qwuestion they asked me. If you want to know any of these questions just aska nd give me a buzz. Its only because its been awhile and I need to bruch up on the questions they asked me. But like I said earlier... I'm JAPAN BOUND!!! Whoo hoo me!!!

Who knew... that Seabiscuit would come through down the last stretch even after suffering and recovering from a torn ligament in his right leg?
Yeah, I guess I would have guessed knowing that the movie title was Seabiscuit and that America is not really into tragedy fims. That was the movie that I watched while waiting for Krystal's call. She went to church last night and Jake guys went to Genki's.. Well almost. They decided to go there but the line was too long and settled for Catch of the Day. Bad move I think I would of held out for Genki's. Much much better and worth the wait.
Well anyway I stayed home and watched T.V all night and even woke up late for school. I got there just before the bell. And guess what a SUBSTITUTE!! You know what that means..Chris had to teach the whole day. You might say," good for you Chris, its really good experience." BULLSHIT! If i had to teach the whole day then I should get paid!! Hundred bucks???? I believe thats the going rate for a sub. So anyway a sub came in and she got 100 dollars for watching me teach all day. What the hell is up with that?!? She had the nerve to comment, "You should get paid for this." Which she left at that not even offering me anything. She basically got paid to wake up at 7 today. That fuickin bites.
Ok enough venting it was a good day... I guess...
Damn JET thing hasn't come in either. When they say End of Januaray and begining of Feburary, they should just keep it that way. If they weren't even planning on sending it in January then why say so. nah nah nah, enough negative feelings... think positive, positive, positive...
So whats the plan for tonight? Maybe some exercising, dinner, and maybe a dollar movie? Or some more quality TV. Oh wait one more thing.
On the radio today I heard one of the radio jocks bitch about the fact that restaurants stay open unitl the hours of business. A guy was complaining that he went to a restaurant at 8:50 and assumed that he was gonna get good sevice when the store is closing at 9:00. But being in the food service field for a while that probably the worstthing you can do other than stiff the check. You don't go to a restaurant 10 minutes before closing. Just like every other job everyone wants to go home on time. Nobody wants to stay extra. He had no right bitch the place out for not giving them good service. Such a "haole" attitude. Gotta be but the fact was that he wasn't.
Until next time.

Who knew that Joel being drunk would be such a funny sight?
On a scale ebwtween 1-10, 1 being homework and 10 being the most funest night in the world, joel was like an 8. He was hilarious. From all the screaming, sighing, uncontrolling laughter and grabbing people's boobs, he was all the entertainment we needed. Anyway from the Karaoke place we went to Zippy's where he made a lot more laughs. What a night....
Well the Superbowl was on Sunday. I will have to say that I'm not a big fan of Tom Brady but he did real good aganistthat damn Panther team. Stupid Panthers... Delhomme what a whinner... thought he could win the Supebowl. Not a crybaby like him. I only say that because all season he got credit fro being the quaterback bringing his team back up and holding opponents off during over time. What you don't see is that every time he gets off the field he's whinning, and thwoing a tantrum. Delhomme what a pu.... nah shouldn't go that far, I guess since I'm not a winning quarterback I should really say anything, but oh yeah thisis AMERICA and I forgot that this is the country where you can say anything you want so.... ALRIGHT PARTRIOTS!!!
So anyways I just started watching the Inferno whichis another real world verse road rukes thing. I guess its my guilty pleasure since there's no football to look forward to anymore. I guess its just reality shows in general. I feel like I just wanna be a couch potato and watch all my worries away. I got hooked into Survivor too. Damn after the superbowl special. And not to mention American Idol. Iguess I wa snever reallyinot the others because I never got to watch them from the beginning. But I'm gonna stay away from all the wedding shows. I feel like those are boring. All i need is just dome healthy friendly competition, not on my account. But other thanthat nothing new... new letter from Washington D.C. yet... cross your fingers.

Who Knew... that the third week of school was gonna be this hard?
Being a full fledge student teacher, I have discovered a new definition of "tired." Its the kind of tired you feel when you are completely active the whole day with no down time and then all of aa sudden when you see tha "down time" coming up your body starts to shut down one part at a time. So when you actually get to your down time, you go to complete body shutdown. Never expereinced the full-ness of this until Monday. Body was being over stressed because it was my first lesson in front of the class of my student teaching semester. I was working all the way til 8:30 when I saw some down time coming and when I got to the very last part I totally shutdown. I didn't open my eyes until 6:45 the next day. so I almost had 10 hours of sleep. Its the new tired and everyone's doing it.
Well I almost forgot to go to College of Ed. to turn in my grad papers. How critical is this? If I don't turn it in by the first of Feburary, I don;'t graduate. That's right I need to pay 15 dollars to unltimately graduate. What the hell is up with that??!
Anyway I need to tend to those matters ASAP
Ok, this weekend is the ... SUPERBOWL! I'm usually excited about the Superbowl, but this year I'm not to hot about the teams that are playing. Panthers and Patriots, whoopa-dee-doo. Even the commercials nowasuperbowls are not that great. Hopefully are some really good ones this year. Plans? Hmmmm, don't really have any, so if anyone wants to hold one send me an invite.
Oh yeah, it was JOEL'S Birthday the other day and I kinda feel abd I neevr told him so HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEL. And in Joel fashion we have arragne to take him to his favorite place in the world, well second because I think Joel's favorite place is in front of a computer... KARAOKE!!! So joel lets go eat, drink, and be merry!!!
so unitl next time.

Who knew... that the pressures of being a 23 year old would be so tough?
Ok ok ok maybe I'm exaggerating a little but I feel that I'm under a lot of stress and It's coming from all the different angles. I need some kind of outlet...
ANyway what do I mean about stress? Wellone of the things is that my grandma came to Hawaii to visit. No big deal huh? Well for me it is because she from my bilogical dad's side. (For those of you who don't know, I have a stepdad.) Anyway my bilogical dad's family is somethgn I don;t like to bring up but yeah. I usually go to see my great grandma every new years but my grandma is a different story. I feel that I have to be this "other person" around her. She aslo has weird requests too. She always wants me to speak Korean, which I'm not good at all in. At one point dhe wanted me to take classes from UH in Korean just so I could learn how to write letters to her. I guess in a techical sense that's not a big request but for someone that doesn't really want anything to deal with that part of my life, I protest.
Then theres the whole religion conflict. Shes a buddhist and I guess you can say religion in my life has taken a different path. How am I supposed to go to hee an avid buddhist her whole life tell her that her grandchild is not a buddhist himself? Any advice? I guess I never was a buddhist to begin with but its something I bet my grandma has been assuming this whole time.
There's also school which is a huge thing. I guess when people told me that I just assumed that "yeah its gonn abe hard" but i never thought oit would be like this. Do you guys rememebr when we were going to elemenatry school and you told yourslef or others that the weekends are too short? WellI feel the same way but from a different point of view. School is not an easy task and it does't help that I haven't gotten into the school mode yet.
Plus theres another issue that i have that I really need to tell someone but I can't... I wish ________ would just be cool again. Why does ______ have to always ignore.

Who knew... taht the year of the monkey would be my year?
What am I talking about? Well I was born in the year if the monkey and I have all these life altering events in the making in the year of the monkey again? Coincidence....?
Anyway before I start, my congradulations going out to Jake for finding out that he's gonna graduate this semester. So you are gonna graduate with huh? Alright sounds good, I think I hear Vegas calling...
So like I said earlier it was Chinese New Year. Kung hee fat choy!! I'm not Chinese but since when do we Americans only celebrate whats in our religion or culture. Anway went o mygrandma's house for dinner and I don;t care what anyone says grandmas have that weird power to make anythig taste good ebcause i took one taste and I totally stuffed myself. Then in old Thanksgivign fashion fell to the Kanak!
Well anyway I was woken up shortly after to find that I had been sleeping for anbout and hour and a half. But right when we stepped out the rain decided to come down on us pretty hard. I got a hint that it might rain tonight and all day tomorrow thundershowsers from a little helper known as the news.
Well I hope that the weather stays the same throughout the weekend. Something about the cool and melodic rhythm of rain falling is somewhat very peaceful. Cross your fingers...
